  1.          CONTENTS of the EXE's FILES for the MWPETZ*.ZIP SERIES

  3. The following is a list of the executable files only for the MWPETZ*.ZIP
  4. sries of archive files. This series demonstrates the portability between
  5. Microsoft Windows code and the API for the MEWEL Window Library by porting
  6. the various applications from the famous Petzold book to DOS text mode.
  7.  
  8. Included in each archive is the full C source code for each utility, along
  9. with selected C++ source code written with the zAPP class library. zAPP
  10. is a commercial C++ class library for both Windows and MEWEL which can
  11. dramatically reduce the amount of code you have to write for a Windows
  12. and MEWEL app.
  13.  
  14. Each utility has a Windows and a MEWEL version. The name of the MEWEL
  15. version is usually the name of the Windows version with the letter 'M'
  16. prepended to the beginning (and perhaps the last letter cut off).
  17. For example, the MEWEL version of PARTY.EXE is MPARTY.EXE, while the
  18. MEWEL version of BEEPER1.EXE is MBEEP1.EXE.
